Barb & Emily are both enthusiasts of deliberate cold exposure, and living in the Seattle area, they are fortunate to have the Puget Sound close by for their cold plunging needs. They became fast friends and enjoy each other’s company.

And then one day, on a hike through the woods, Emily had the horrible experience of completely losing her bladder control. Fortunately, she was with her kind and knowledgeable friend Barb, who made her feel as good as it was possible to feel in that moment and also mentioned that she knew some things that could help. You see, Barb is a pelvic floor physical therapist and has helped thousands of women with bladder control issues. After experiencing the transformation of the program firsthand, Emily suggested they create an online version to make it more accessible and help more women, and Be Bladder Confident was born.
