My bladder issues were easy to ignore at first – just some increased urgency and occasional leakage. But after a few years, the bladder urgency and frequency steadily got worse. Still, I experienced such bad urinary urgency – I would have to RUN to the bathroom as soon as I got the first hint of having to go, and still I didn’t always get there in time and often leaked. I began obsessing about being within close distance of a bathroom. I was so anxious about being out in public and away from a bathroom.

After learning the pelvic floor exercises in Be Bladder Confident, I am now so confident with my bladder control! I am more active in my life, and I don’t worry about leaks or accidents. I have even gone through a cross-country flight without needing to go to the bathroom and frequently sleep through the whole night without needing to urinate!
